Online Ayurveda Consultation —
Anywhere in India, and Abroad
Chronic conditions are managed mostly through medication, diet and lifestyle — none of which require you to be in the room. Consult an MD Ayurveda physician by video, get a written plan, and have classical formulations couriered to your address in India or overseas.
- 45–60 minute consultation, not a five-minute prescription
- Medicines dispatched across India and internationally
- English, Hindi and Telugu
- Evening and early-morning IST slots for the Gulf, UK and US
Why Ayurveda travels well over video
Ayurvedic diagnosis is built on history rather than instrumentation. What a physician needs to know is when the symptoms started and what changed around that time, how your digestion behaves, how you sleep, how your cycle runs, what you have already taken and how your body responded. That entire conversation works as well on a call as it does across a desk — and generally works better, because you are at home with your reports in front of you and no waiting room behind you.
What genuinely does not transfer is Nadi Pariksha and physical examination. We are direct about that. The remote assessment leans instead on structured history-taking, the lab work and imaging you already have, and AI-assisted analysis of face and tongue images you submit before the call. Where a physical examination would change the diagnosis rather than confirm it, we will ask you to come in.
For patients living outside India, there is a second thing online consultation solves: continuity. The common alternative is a fortnight of treatment during an annual visit home, followed by ten months of no supervision. Chronic disease does not respond to that pattern. Monthly video reviews with the formulation adjusted against your response is what actually moves an autoimmune or hormonal condition.
How it works
From booking to medicines at your door.
1 — Book a slot that works in your timezone
Pick a time and share your main complaint. Evening and early-morning IST slots are kept open specifically for patients in the Gulf, the UK and North America. The first 20-minute consultation is free.
2 — Send your reports before the call
Upload blood work, scans and current prescriptions in advance so the physician reads them before you speak rather than during. You will also complete a structured history form — cycle, digestion, sleep, stress, prior treatment.
3 — The consultation itself
A 45–60 minute video call: full case history, examination of what can be assessed remotely, and AI-assisted Prakriti mapping from face and tongue images you submit. The diagnosis is explained to you in plain language, not handed over as a prescription slip.
4 — Medicines dispatched to your address
Classical formulations are dispensed from the hospital pharmacy and couriered — anywhere in India, and internationally to the US, UK, UAE, Australia, Canada and Singapore. Dosage and timing come as written instructions, not verbal ones you have to remember.
5 — Follow-up and adjustment
Chronic conditions are reviewed every 3–4 weeks, with the formulation adjusted against your response. Between reviews you can reach the clinic on WhatsApp for dosage questions and reactions.
What can and cannot be treated remotely
Worth knowing before you book.
Well suited to remote care
Chronic and autoimmune conditions managed primarily through medication, diet and lifestyle — thyroid disorders, PCOD/PCOS, psoriasis and eczema, IBS and ulcerative colitis, fatty liver, type 2 diabetes support, anxiety and insomnia, and menstrual irregularities.
Needs at least one visit
Anything requiring hands-on procedures: a Panchakarma course, Ksharasutra for fistula or piles, Agnikarma, and leech therapy. These can be planned around a trip to India — many overseas patients consult online first, then travel for a two- to three-week treatment block.
Planning treatment around a trip to India? See Panchakarma in Hyderabad for what a course involves and how long to allow.
Where our online patients are
Within India, patients consult from Bengaluru, Chennai, Mumbai, Pune, Delhi NCR and across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. If you are near Hyderabad, an in-person first consultation at our Boduppal hospital is usually worth the trip, with follow-ups online afterwards.
Frequently asked questions
Can an Ayurvedic doctor really diagnose over video?
For most chronic conditions, yes. Ayurvedic diagnosis rests mainly on a detailed case history — onset, progression, digestion, sleep, cycle, appetite, stress and prior treatment — which transfers perfectly to a video call. What cannot be done remotely is Nadi Pariksha (pulse reading) and physical examination. We compensate with structured history-taking, your existing lab reports, and AI-assisted face and tongue analysis. Where a physical examination would materially change the diagnosis, you will be told to come in rather than treated blind.
How are medicines delivered, and what does shipping cost?
Within India, medicines are couriered from the hospital pharmacy and typically arrive in 3–6 days, with shipping included in the medicine cost for most locations. International dispatch to the US, UK, UAE, Australia, Canada and Singapore takes 7–14 days and is quoted separately at the time of order. A one-month course is the usual dispatch quantity.
Are Ayurvedic medicines allowed through customs in the US, UK and UAE?
Classical Ayurvedic formulations are generally permitted for personal use in these countries, and every consignment ships with an invoice, ingredient list and a prescription letter from the treating physician. Rules do differ by country and change from time to time — customs clearance is ultimately the destination country’s decision, so we tell you what is being sent and let you confirm against your local rules before dispatch. Some patients prefer to have medicines delivered to family in India and carried over.
What languages are online consultations available in?
English, Hindi and Telugu. For Telugu-speaking families abroad this is often the deciding factor — an elderly parent can join the call and describe symptoms in their own language rather than through a relative translating.
What does an online consultation cost?
The first 20-minute consultation is free, with no commitment. Full consultations and follow-up reviews are charged at published rates, and medicine costs are quoted before dispatch so you approve the total in advance. See our pricing page for current figures.
Can I combine online consultation with treatment in India later?
That is the most common pattern for patients living abroad. You begin with online consultation and medication for two to three months, and if a Panchakarma course is indicated, it is scheduled around a planned trip. Because the case history and response to medication are already documented, the in-person block can start on day one instead of beginning with assessment.
