Ayurvedic Treatment in Hyderabad —
Not a Wellness Centre. A Hospital.
Most people arrive here after a chronic condition has stopped responding to symptom management, or after being advised an operation they would rather avoid. Treatment is organised in three tiers, and the first one — medication, diet and lifestyle — resolves roughly four out of five cases without anything more invasive.
- 15+ years of practice, 5,000+ patients treated
- MD (Ayurveda) physicians, not therapists
- In-house Ksharasutra theatre and Panchakarma chambers
- Written cost estimates before treatment begins
How treatment is structured
You start at the least invasive tier that has a realistic chance of working.
Medical management
Personalised herbal formulations prescribed against your Prakriti, a specific dietary protocol rather than generic advice, and lifestyle correction targeted at your condition — with monitoring and adjustment at each follow-up. Typically 3–6 months for a chronic condition. This alone resolves the majority of autoimmune, hormonal, digestive and early joint presentations that come to us.
Medical Panchakarma
The five classical purification procedures — Virechana, Basti, Vamana, Nasya and Raktamokshana — run as 7–21 day physician-supervised programmes with preparation before and staged dietary recovery after. Used for psoriasis, rheumatoid arthritis, IBS, chronic pain and post-medication detoxification, not for relaxation.
Para-surgical procedures
Ksharasutra medicated-thread therapy for fistula-in-ano, pilonidal sinus and piles, with high success rates and minimal recurrence. Agnikarma controlled thermal therapy for chronic knee pain, tennis elbow and plantar fasciitis. Leech therapy for varicose veins and non-healing diabetic ulcers. Performed in-house under local or no anaesthesia.
The order matters. A clinic that opens with a Panchakarma package for every patient is selling treatment, not prescribing it — most chronic conditions need medication and dietary correction first, and purification only once the body is prepared for it.
Conditions treated
Each links through to the diagnosis, protocol and expected timeline for that condition.
Also treated: uterine fibroids, adenomyosis, rheumatoid arthritis, ulcerative colitis, chronic sinusitis, frozen shoulder and non-healing wounds. Structured programmes are available for alcohol recovery, weight and metabolic reset and sleep and stress.
What makes this different from a clinic down the road
Diagnosis before prescription
A 60–90 minute first consultation, AI-assisted Prakriti assessment, and a genuine review of the scans and blood work you already have. Root cause identified through an Ayurvedic lens, not a symptom checklist.
Costed upfront, in writing
Treatment estimates before you begin, no hidden charges, and no procedures added to inflate a bill. If a cheaper route has the same chance of working, that is the one you will be offered.
Two hospitals in Telangana
Boduppal in East Hyderabad — serving Nacharam, Uppal, Mallapur and Peerzadiguda — plus a Mahbubnagar branch with its own resident physicians, and video consultation for everyone else.

Frequently asked questions
Is AyurCity a hospital or a wellness centre?
A hospital. There are consulting physicians with MD (Ayurveda) qualifications, a Ksharasutra operating theatre with sterilisation protocols, dedicated Panchakarma therapy chambers, inpatient monitoring on procedure days, and documented case records. Wellness centres offer therapies; a hospital diagnoses, treats and follows up on disease.
How long before I see results from Ayurvedic treatment?
It depends on how long the condition has been present. Acute pain and digestive complaints often shift within 2–4 weeks. Chronic autoimmune and hormonal conditions — rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, thyroid disorders, PCOD — generally show measurable change by 6–12 weeks and are managed over 3–6 months. You will be given an expected timeline at the first consultation rather than an open-ended course.
Can Ayurveda actually help me avoid surgery?
For specific conditions, often yes — uterine fibroids and adenomyosis, knee osteoarthritis, cervical and lumbar disc disease, fistula-in-ano and piles are the ones we see most. It depends entirely on the stage. Bring the surgical advice and the imaging it was based on, and you will get an honest assessment. Where surgery is genuinely necessary, we will tell you so rather than delay it.
Do you treat patients who live outside Hyderabad?
Yes. Patients travel to Boduppal and Mahbubnagar from across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh for treatment courses, and we run video consultations for patients elsewhere in India and overseas, with medicines dispatched to your address.
What should I bring to my first appointment?
Any blood work, scans, biopsy or imaging reports from the last year, a list of every medication and supplement you currently take, and any surgical advice you have received. If you have been tracking symptoms — cycle dates, pain scores, sleep — bring that too; it is more useful than most tests.
